Plot:⤵
Choi Kang Soo (Go Kyung Pyo) is a deliveryman. Despite his poor background, he is fearless and always stands up for what is right. He has a heart of gold and does not allow anyone to step on people who may not be able to defend themselves. He also does not stay at the same Chinese Restaurant Location for more than two months. In spite of his humble beginnings, Choi Kang Soo is fearless and gives 100% effort in everything that he does. He dreams of becoming a CEO of a delivery app company someday, but life just throws more than a few roadblocks in his way.
Lee Dan Ah is another delivery worker. She does not have family who really care about her. She hates her current situation and wishes that she could leave Korea. In fact, that is one of her goals and she is working several part time jobs for this goal to be realized. She is a tough cookie and has no problem defending herself and her BFF. Lee Dan Ah is so focused on making money and changing her life that she has no time for men. But when she comes across the charming Choi Kang Soo, he begins to crack at her icy exterior.
Lee Ji Yoon is a complex character, as she is an adult but she has the maturity of a child. She has never seen the real world and its hardships due to her being a child of privilege. Her parents are rich and she no longer wants to be a part of that world. She tries to escape her mother, who is a cunning, crafty and manipulative business woman. On her quest for freedom, she meets Choi Kang Soo who she falls in love with. She also meets Oh  Jin Gyu. Another rich person just like her who is trying to find his own way.
Oh Jin Gyu is a rich, rebel without a cause. He has no skills, no job and just spends his days having fun. Although his father owns a rather successful company, he would rather race fast cars and go shopping. He does not believe in himself and it does not appear that his father affirms him as well. He has a great relationship with his mother but she just wants him to be the heir of his father's company. A series of misfortunes, leads to misunderstandings. One day, he decides to end it all and meets Lee Dan Ah who he feels indebted to and his arrogance begins to melt away.
Review:⤵
I thought that this drama was a great one. It had many feel good moments that had me rooting for the
team. Go Kyung Pyo played a strong character in Choi Kang Soo. I believed his portrayal of a young man haunted by the mistakes of his parents. I could see that those mistakes shaped his worldview. I loved how he was loyal to his friends and how his friends were loyal to him. Similarly, it was interesting how his feelings for Lee Dan Ah began to emerge and how he placed Lee Ji Yoon in the friend zone without stringing her along. Choi Kang Soo is manly, loyal, and has a heart of pure gold.
Lee Dan Ah was a very strong female character. She seemed like a superhero. It is just odd that her dreams and goals was to leave Korea and she stayed for a man. It just seemed completely opposite of the strong character that was presented to the viewers in the beginning. Do not get me wrong, I am all for love! However, it just did not match her reasons for staying. Though she might have realized that the reasons why she wanted to leave were minuscule in comparison to the reason that she would stay.

I was also happy to see the development between the second couple, Ji Yoon and Jin Gyu. I was
happy to see that they both got over their first crushes and moved on with each other. Albeit their relationship started off rocky, the natural development of their relationship made sense. I love how Jin Gyu would just accept all of Ji Yoon's complaints and answer all of her questions about Kang Soo.

My biggest disappointment in this drama was Oh Jin Gyu's character. I loved his character from the beginning and to the middle of the drama. The love-hate relationship between he and Kang Soo was interesting, endearing and also comical.
The way his character was turned inside out and outside in was a great technique. We could definitely see the angst and him grappling with his old self and the "good" human being that he wanted to be. However, there is a point in this drama where the writers dropped the ball. He kind of shrunk. What I mean by that is his character, the Jin Gyu that we fell in love with, not only disappeared in the drama, but disappeared in the drama. The cool, arrogant, quick witted Jin Gyu disappeared under newspapers. (If you watch the drama, you will know what I am talking about.) This was too much for me to ignore and I had to knock some points off for this.
4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐🟄
I was left with some unanswered questions. Why did Kang Soo blame Jin Gyu for something that was obviously not his fault? I understand hating him for a bit, but to blame him for an accident that he did not cause is a bit dramatic. What is Kang Soo's relationship with his mother? Is he just through with her? What is Kang Soo's relationship with his brother? Is his brother's grandmother, his grandmother? Why didn't Sung Jae inform Kang Soo who was really behind him leaving SDM? Why did Kang Soo leave a company that he worked so hard for? What ever happened to Jung Hye Ran? Yes she went bankrupt but why didn't she go to jail for what she did?
Although, I have all of these questions, it does not take away from my overall experience with this drama! This drama is worth watching and I recommend it. Not just for the handsome Go Kyung Pyo, but the fresh concept of people working hard to get ahead and justice being served.
