Choi Go Bong (Yang Dong-Geun) is an inventor and works in the field of artificial intelligence. His wife died after giving birth to their son, Choi Yool (Jo Yeon Ho) 7 years ago.

After Choi Go Bong's wife dies, he develops a borg mom (Park Han-Byul) using artificial

intelligence and the use of robotics. She is perfect in every single way however lacks human emotional understanding.

The Borg Mom spends most of her time, cooking cleaning and taking care of Choi Yool (Jo Yeon Ho), Go Bong's 7 year old son. He is a smart, active and eager young boy and ends up entering a prestigious kindergarten at the Buckingham PreSchool that is very hard to get in.

Although the kindergarten is hard to get in, Go Bong illicit help from his good friend Han Young Cheol (Choi Jung Won) who manages to get Choi Yool into the school by placing him on the waiting list. 

The Borg Mom meets a group of mothers at the school who are much different from her. They are part of the Elegant Mother Committee. They are vain, conceited, snoody and pretentious. There seems to be a bit of animosity from the Leader of the Elegant Mom Committee unbeknownst to Borg Mom.

3⭐⭐⭐🟄

This drama was one that I anticipated to watch being that I am a huge fan of Choi Yeo Jin and have been following her career after watching I Need Romance. I was happy to see that she was finally doing another project since the crazy scandal that she was wrongfully in the mix of. I am still wondering if I like her character or is her character too over the top.

The drama unfolds with The Borg Creator, Choi Go Bong (Yang Dong Geun) expressing to us how the Borg Mom (Park Han Byul) came to be and how she is programmed. She appears to be be perfect except that it is difficult for her to read regular human emotions. She takes the place of Choi Yool (Jo Yeon Ho), mother who died seven years prior. It appears as if Choi Yool has not seen his mother for seven years. It is because she died after giving birth to him. He has been raised by his uncle who uses him to get ladies. I was not crazy about the first episode. In fact, I am not sure if it was supposed to be funny or whether it was the lines that were meant to be funny but did not come across that way. I am also not sure how I feel about the son being a young Cassanova, or a ladies man.

There also seems to be an unspoken animosity between who the Borg Mom is pretending to be and the leader of the The Leader of the Elegant Mom Committee: Do Do Hye.

I am unable to draw a conclusion of whether or not I will continue watching this drama based off of the first episode. This is a drama that I probably need to watch the second episode to determine whether I will be continuing. Honestly, I just don't have the time to sit and watch 16 episodes, or however many of a bad drama.
