Somebody Call The Doctor: K-Actors Who Play TV Doctors Oh So Well

Have you ever watched a Korean Drama and wished that the actor playing the doctor was your real doctor?  Or the way they looked in their hospital gown was enough for you to say, "take my temperature please!!!!"

Throughout the years, there have been many Actors who have acted the part very well of TV Doctor. They have been Manly, Handsome, Intelligent and all around Charming.  They have left us smiling and wishing that they were our real Doctors.  Though there are many wonderful actors, here is a list of 10 Actors who played an amazing TV Doctor. See if your favorite made it.


1. Kim Rae Won (Doctors Crush)
He plays a doctor in the 2016 hit drama "Doctors Crush"! He has viewers believe in love again, as he helps Park Shin Hye's character through her personal trauma. Let's now call him the "Love Doctor."

2. Choi Jin Hyuk (Emergency Couple)
He plays a Doctor in the drama "Emergency Couple." He convinced Song Ji Hyo's character to take him back after their divorce, while working in the ER. That is a skill that can only be done by a skilled doctor.

3. Choi Minho (Medical Top Team)
Minho plays a Doctor in the 2013 drama "Medical Top Team." Honestly I was not crazy about this particular drama and unfortunately, even Minho could not save this drama with his sweet demeanor. However, I just love seeing Minho in any drama and absolutely loved his effort!!

4. Lee Sang Yoon (Angel Eyes)
LSY with his intense gaze plays a surgeon in "Angel Eyes." LSY shows true commitment to his first love, Ku Hye Sun's character as he follows her even to a different career... all for love. Sang Yoon, will you do open heart
surgery for all of the hearts that are racing right now???

5. Park Hae Jin (Doctor Stranger)
PHJ plays a doctor in "Doctor Stranger." Honestly, PHJ can do no wrong. Whether he plays a villainous doctor,
or a bad guy. He will always be one of our favorite doctors!

6. Lee Jong Suk (Doctor Stranger)
LJS plays a doctor in the strange medical drama "Doctor Stranger." In this drama, he wrestles between an old and new relationship. We don't care how strange "Doctor
Stranger" was. We just want to know...will you take our  temperature?

7. Yoo Yeon Seok (Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim)
Yeon Seok plays a doctor in the drama "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim". We need water to extinguish the flame between Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin's character.
Call the paramedics, because I think we have a fever!!! He is soooo handsome.

8. Kim Young Kwang (Good Doctor + DDay)
KYK is such a good TV Doctor that he played one twice: Good Doctor & D-Day! He's the only doctor that we don't mind seeing a little dirt on his white coat...because he cleans up so nicely.

9. Joo Won (Young Pal + Good Doctor)
Joo Won also played a doctor twice; in Young Pal and Good Doctor. He' such a believable doctor, he should play one in every role. Perhaps when he returns from
fulfilling his mandatory military service.Your fans miss you Oppa Joo Won! Be safe and come back healthy and stronger than ever. #Fighting

10. Kang Min Hyuk (Hospital Ship)
Kang Min Hyuk is last but certainly not least. As 1/3 of the KPOP band CnBlue, we love seeing him in dramas. KMH is one of several doctors on-board the Hospital Ship. There he falls in love with Ha Ji Won's character, while combating his own fears and personal demons.
